Where it all started

The journey of Athena CredXpert began years ago when its Founder & CEO, Satish Mehta, was helping establish India's first Credit Bureau, CIBIL (now TransUnion CIBIL). Even then, he recognized a missing link - while Credit Reports were becoming accessible, Individuals / Non-Individuals had little support in correcting errors or improving their Credit Score/Rank. The most affected stakeholders - consumers - were left without guidance.

Driven by the desire to bridge this gap and his passion for building something new, Satish envisioned a service focused on Credit Counselling and Repair. This long-standing idea gradually took shape into a structured offering aimed at helping Individuals and Non-Individuals rebuild their credit profiles and take control of their financial journeys.

Anil Mehta

Anil Mehta

Anil holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a degree in Economics. He has led consumer credit and business functions in the mortgage, banking, and insurance sectors at HDFC Ltd, Bank of America, American Express, ANZ Bank, and Max New York Life Insurance. Anil founded India Shelter Finance Corporation (ISFC) to improve housing access for middle- and lower-income segments, driven by his expertise in risk evaluation and social impact. He advises private equity funds and serves as a Director on the Boards of Edgrow Pvt Ltd, Ambit Finvest Pvt Ltd, Spocto Services Pvt Ltd, and Cred Avenue Pvt Ltd.

Sudhin Choksey

Sudhin Choksey

Sudhin, Chairman of India Shelter Finance Corporation Limited (ISFC) and Independent Director at Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB), has over 42 years of experience in India and overseas, with a strong track record in mortgage finance and lending. A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he was honored with the Business Leader–Financial Services Award in 2015 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Suneel, a qualified chartered accountant, is a pioneer in Indian advertising and public relations. He founded Clea Advertising and Clea Public Relations, followed by Hanmer and Partners in 1999, which later became part of Publicis Groupe’s global network, MSLGROUP. In 2015, he co-founded Pitchfork Partners, which has since partnered with leading Indian and global conglomerates across India, the Middle East, and Europe.

Amit Arvind Badiyani is a seasoned IT professional and tech entrepreneur with global experience in delivering digital solutions for financial services and healthcare. He has led projects across AWS, JEE, .Net, MEAN, and mobile platforms, serving clients worldwide. A physics graduate from Nagpur University with a Diploma in IT from NIIT, Amit has spoken at CII, TiE, and VMA events and authored Delivering Software, available on Amazon. Currently he is the Founder and CEO of Harrier Information Systems.
